Ends 7/30 - Miracle Treat Day to benefit local Children's Miracle Network Hospitalsis coming up on Thursday, July 30th at all participating DQ locations. During the 10th annual Miracle Treat Day, one dollar or more from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating locations will be donated to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises funds and awareness for 170 children's hospitals across the United States and Canada. Ends 8/20 – The Missouri Valley Coalition For Homeless People will be holding the 7th annual Missouri Valley Region Project Connect on August 20th from 3p to 7pm at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library This is a one day event to provide services such as; meals & beverages, haircuts, job services, ID Services, Health & Dental Information, Military Affairs & Veterans Services & more! 8/27 - The Central Dakota Veteran's "Stand Down" will be held Thursday August 27th from 10am to 3pm at the Bismarck Amvets.  This is an event that assists veterans in need, with VA benefit information, medical referrals, a meal and a haircut. If you need local transportation or for more information call John at 425-6812.

Ends 9/8 – The 19th Annual Tribal Leaders Summit & Tradeshow is coming up September 8th through the 10th at the Bismarck Event Center.  Tradeshow Exhibitors, Sponsors and Vendors are encouraged to participate with opportunities to gather with Tribal Leaders and Community members from Tribal Nations across the Great Plains Region. Ends 9/28 - Burleigh & Morton County extension offices & the North Dakota Game and Fish will be offering a six week hunter’s education class geared to area youth 11yrs & older starting Aug 17. The class will run on Monday’s from 6-8:30p with the last class being Sept 28. The class is free and open to the public. Parents of enrolled youth who wish to take the class must also register.
