Ends 9/19 - This week is Fall Clean Up week in Bismarck. Set up items outside by 8:00 am on your scheduled clean up day. Crews will pick up items that two men can lift. Tree branches and wood material must be bundled and tied and shorter than 4 feet in length. Hazardous waste must be taken to the Household Hazardous Waste Center and WILL NOT be collected on the route. For more information visit the City of Bismarck website at Bismarck.org or call 355-1700.
Ends 9/19 - Everyone is invited to attend the Martin Luther School Golf Scramble coming up on Saturday, September 27th at Prairie West Golf Course in Mandan. Check in begins at noon with a tee off time of 1:00. Supper and prizes will follow the scramble. To register or for more information call Martin Luther School at 224-9070.
Ends 9/20 - On Saturday the Bismarck Fire Fighters are going to be supporting our local families with muscle diseases by doing a Fill the Boot from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m at both Bismarck Walmart locations. Come and show your support by making donations for local families.

Ends 9/21- St. Anthony Catholic Church in Linton, ND will be holding their annual Fall Festival on Sunday, September 21st at the KC Hall in Linton. There will be fried chicken, ham, hamburger rice, all the trimmings and various pies and desserts. Doors will open at 3:45 pm and serving will end at 6:45 pm. Bingo is in the church basement at 5:00 pm and the raffle ticket drawing will begin at 8:00.
Ends 9/21 - Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend a free-will donation pancake benefit breakfast for Heidi Robotka on Sunday, September 21st. from 9 am - 1 pm at The Bridge Church, 929 N 14th St. Bismarck. Heidi is a loving mom of two wonderful children, Aubrey (7) and Grayson (1). She is employed with teen challenge, a non-profit in our community as the business manager. Heidi was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer throughout her body. She is currently receiving care in Houston, Texas. Dance Club for lessons set to a wide variety of music, meet and greet people, get physical activity and mental stimulation in a relaxed, smoke and alcohol free atmosphere. A dance partner is not necessary. A Free lesson is scheduled for September 25, 7pm, Bismarck Eagles Club. Lessons continue on Thursday nights after that. Ends 9/21- St. Mary's Catholic Church of Medina will be serving a Turkey & Ham Dinner on Sunday, September 21st from 11 am - 1:30 pm at the Medina School. The menu includes turkey, hame, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, homemade buns, desert and beverages. The cost for the meal is $10 for adults, $5 for kids age 6-12, and kids 5 and under are free. There will also be a country store with baked goods and craft items available for sale.
Ends 9/28- St. Martin's Catholic Church in Center will be holding their Annual Fall Dinner coming up on Sunday, September 28th with a polka mass starting at the church at 10:00 am. Dinner will be served at the Betty Hagel Memorial Civic Center from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Dinner includes: meatballs, ham, mashed potatoes, corn, coleslaw, buns and pie. Activities include; bingo, a craft and produce sale, raffle, silent auction, cake walk and kids games. All proceeds recieved will be matched by Catholic United Financial.
Ends 9/28- Teddy Roosevelt Family Day will be held Sunday, September 28th from 1 to 4 PM at McDowell Dam, 3 ½ miles East of Bismarck on Highway 10. Kids can register for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts or 4-H at this event. There will be Concessions, Games, Prizes and More! Lots of activities for kids including Troop Presentations, Archery, BB Gun Shooting, Fishing, Spear throwing, Kites, Sling Shots, ATV Simulator, Kid-Size Motorized Boats, animal ID, remote airplanes and more! Free Teddy Roosevelt Patch for the first 750 kids that show up! A 20 gauge shotgun will be given away, sponsored by Delta Waterfowl. The event is sponsored by North Dakota Game & Fish Department The North Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society and Ducks Unlimited.
